Did you try to speak to the advisor's manager?

No, I'll try that when I next ring if I get no joy. The engineer came and took less than 30 seconds to diagnose faulty bearings and admitted its a known fault with that model, so hopefully that will all add weight to my arguement.

And just to add to the list of errors, today a courier appeared at the door bearing the printer that I'd cancelled a week ago! So now I have to give house room to an unwanted box until DPD come to pick it up next week.

You could have simply refused the delivery.

How many wash cycles has it run approx in 2 years? That is what matters, not it's age. Could be twice a week, so 200 cycles, could be twice a day, so 1500 cycles. Some budget machines will barely manage 500 cycles without bearing failure, so can easily fail in 2 years. That's why very few machines have more than two year warranties, and many still only one.
Though I'd expect more from a mid-range Bosch, even if it's of the Spanish built variety.

So following the information on the other thread, have you spoken to Bosch customer service?

I tried, but the courier said he had no return information and although that's not my problem I just felt it was simpler to take it in, add it to my list of complaints, and wait for it to be collected.
