    Morning all,

Elona well done on the weight loss. I was determined to lose weight whilst hubby and youngest were working away but ive been stuffing cough sweets for days. I'll start again... tomorrow.

Grandbaby has been fed, had a bath, is changed and has watched copious amounts of Cbeebies and has now put himself to bed. He stood at the stair gate rattling the bars with his teddies. I gave him his dummy, opened the gate and off up the stairs he trotted. Straight to bed.

I think his Daddy is struggling a bit at the moment. He looks like the world is weighing heavily on his shoulders. Christmas is looming and i know my daughter and son in law have had words about the cost already. I dont think my daughter realizes the financial burden she places on him.

Oh well, i'd best get moving before my Grandson wakes.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

    Afternoon all,

Well the forecast was for showers but so far none. Went shopping, I use the park and ride as I find it easier and cheaper and no clock watching.

I was looking for boots and a new parka but the boots are either dreadfully expensive, really tacky or don't fit! Couldn't find a coat for the right price or that fitted properly either - maybe I am too fussy and too tight!

Bought DS2 and his GF a food steamer as I worry they don't eat enough veg. He eats at her house most evenings and they have to buy their own food which usually means pizza :( even though they could have dinner here.

DD and SIL are coming down tomorrow. Her old best schoolfriend is getting married on Saturday and she is bridesmaid. They have a pre Wedding dinner tomorrow night and I seem to have been booked as taxi for a number of trips over the coming two days as well as B&B!

HH - Your poor MIL, hope she is comfortable. Sending you a (((hug)))

Judi - Your grandson looks adorable :)

Tru, fwiw, Lizzie Sprocker used to be shocking for pulling, and had a Halti as well as a Flexi-lead (expanding lead); the last twice she stayed here, she'd improved greatly - and I found that if she started misbehaving, all I had to do was stop and say to her "Carry on with that, and you'll have your Halti on" and she'd immediately moderate her behaviour. So don't lose hope. If Little Miss Naughty can become Little Miss Angel, there's hope for Scampi yet. :o

Hester big (((HUGS))). I'm so glad the Dr let your poor MIL make the choice for herself - and fwiw, I'd have done the same in her place. All I can hope is that the time she has remaining is as comfortable as possible.

Harriet Spaniel is here - I didn't know what to expect, didn't even know what sort of Spaniel; but she's a little golden Cocker Spaniel, and very sweet. Poor love has nearly as many meds as I do, so I've fished out some empty film containers, and will set out her daily doses in the same way as I do ours.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
