As you have ME this cannot be helping you. I would send a recorded delivery letter pointing out exactly what you have done and when. Keep it simple and use bullet points and tell them that if it is not resolved to to your satisfaction with 14 working days and if you have any further correspondance from them to the contrary, you will seek legal advice re harassment.0

Is there anyone specifically I should be sending it to? I cannot remember if I signed an agreement, it has been 20 years plus since I opened an account with them. If I do as you suggested and request my Credit Agreement from them and the CAA letter says to get a response back from them within 12 days and they have a 3 months backlog of their post, what would be my position then?
The chances are you never signed one which makes it an un enforceable debt, include in the letter everything that has gone on. Sending them the CCA will probably make them suddenly find your proof of postage. If its 20 years plus most CCA are actually destroyed after 6 years so if you did sign one it may not still be in their possession. if you hear nothing within 12 days you then wait a further 30 including weekends and if they haven't contacted you within this this time frame they are then in default which means the OFT them become involved and fine them approx £2500 for none compliance. Their 3 months backlog is their problem not yours and they still have to compile with this time frame.0 -
Thank you for your replies, yes it isn't easy with ME and this is just stressing me out. Talk about hitting a brick wall dealing with them. Thanks for the CAA advice, good one, it had occurred to me to send post by recorded delivery, they can't deny they haven't received correspondence then. The fact they have to produce within 12 days should buck them up a bit, we can but hope. Great to get advice:T0
