Could someone please tell me, the largest size of Micro SD Card, which will work in a Garmin Nuvi 55, Satnav?

dunno but some of the 500gig sized ones on ebay from china should reformat to about 17.65meg

Looks like 8GB is the limit.

get a lot on 8g , my first h/drive computer was 10 meg , and my first pendrive was 64 meg ,


try a few garmin sites or even other memory suppliers

The reason for my , is that I have a spare 32GB card, and was hoping to use it in my Satnav.

ETA: The hard drive on my first (new) PC, was 540Mb.

well have you tried the card? , if it won,t recognise 64g , then it might reformat to the units max

I installed it, and it is showing as 96KB used, and 28.8GB free.

Seems the Nuvi 55 will take a 32GB card. :j
