Received my renewal recently, Auto renewal of course. Phoned them today to haggle, not used them on call out for years and Lo, reduced price by £60 and got an extra 3 months membership for 3 adults - RESULT - HAPPY

I have to do the same every single year, it is starting to become a pain.
They were not so eager this time, are they on commission? Bigger bonus for the smallest discount they offer?
Last year the guy was happy to drop the price saying it should discount automatically due to the length of time i have been a member and not called them out.
This year not so easy, they knocked a bit off but i said i can still get it cheaper then they knocked a bit more off.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Unfortunately loyalty doesn't pay. What with Quidco cashback for each new customer its actually cheaper to switch between the major breakdown companies every year. A new customer always gets the best deal with the added bonus of £30-40 cashback.0

I need the Arrival Caravan/Trailer cover though (through then Caravan and Camping Club) so cashback is not possible.
