What is the difference between these numbers, Landline, National Rate or Personal?

Land lines are 01 and 02

And as guess National would be 0845 ect.

Not a clue what personal is, unless it's mobiles. 12 pence a min sounds about right for a mobile.

The free calls are obviously to UK 01/02 numbers;

National Rate is the discredited description of 0870 calls - for which BT now charges less than the figure you quote;

Personal numbers are the rip-off 070 range which Ofcom is thinking about moving to the vacant 06 range to avoid them being confused with mobile numbers.
