Im wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between the nuvi 2597LM and the nuvi 2517LM.

They look identical to me in terms of the specs, same size, same features etc. I just cannot for the life of me see a difference, only difference is the price, the 2597LM is £90 from Aldi (last weeks special) and the 2517LM is £85 at Argos.

Thanks

Apologies all, think I may have found the answer, have looked again at the specs and the 2597 has Voice-activated navigation and the 2517 has View upcoming points of interest along route which isn't that important.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that 'Points of Interest' is some type of tourist info - highlighting pretty views, castles, statues and such.

It can be anything that you set the priorities for - filling stations, speed cameras, fast food restaurants, hotels etc etc.

It's the voice actuated one that I would find little use for.
