Santander Current Account

Hi,
I have a Current Account with Santander.
I have booked a christmas stay at Eurodisney through their French website as it was a much better deal then the UK one.
I am due to pay the balance in euros in November. I am wondering if there is a table updated daily where I can find out what the exchange rate would be with Santander for paying in Euros.
I would also like to know roughly what there bank charge is for a foreign transaction if anyone can help.

I'd suggest applying for one of the advised credit cards designed for this type of spending.
I don't know what rates you'd pay, but Santander is listed as a 'debit card from hell' for foreign transactions, plus you'd miss out on the s75 security you could get by paying with a credit card in case anything goes wrong.
It's worth having a decent travel credit card handy for when you actually go on holiday aswell.

Many thanks for that. :-).
I have a bad credit history and have now gotten myself back on track. I don't wish to ever have a credit card again if I can help it.
Normally I just pay through the bank once and then take cash on holiday.0 -
have you actually tried google for an answer?

Actually I have.
That is coming up with overseas charges.
That was not my question, or maybe I just didn't make the point clear.
I am not trying to find out what the charges are for use abroad. I am just trying to find out if there is a way of knowing what the Euro rate I would pay should the balance be debited from my bank account today....
CARD PAYMENT TO DISNEY VACANCES,310.51 EUR, RATE 0.72/GBP ON 16-05-2015 NON-STERLING TRANS
So on that day it was 0.72 per euro along with a £1.25 purchase fee.
It would also be nice if anyone can to make suggest other ways (not credit cards) I could pay other then through my bank to maybe get a better rate etc. I was thinking maybe a front loaded card or something like that...0 -

Download the revolut app. It has a virtual card (and a real one if you order one) that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees. You can top it up with Santander card.0

If i was to use this card for both paying the balance of the holiday here in the UK then add spending money to it and use it at Eurodisney France, would I incur any charges at all..?

I needed to pay a holiday deposit in euros to a french bank earlier this month, Santander quoted me an exchange rate of £1.30 (it was advertised on here as up to £1.35 at the time) but wanted a whopping £25 fee to do it. If you go online to your account as if you are going to do the transaction but don't actually complete it, it will tell you what the current rate is. I paid via my Lloyds bank account, the rate was £1.31 and the charge for this was £100

If it is a Visa card, the exchange rate can be found here: http://www.visaeurope.com/making-payments/exchange-rates
and the Mastercard one is here: https://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyconversion/
But you will then have to calculate any fees that Santander add on themselves0 -

I've not dealt with them for some time but I used to use Skrill for any payments to France. Their exchange rate was good and their fees modest (I used to load my French bank account that way). More than that I can't really help, sorry.0
