I have had a document sent to me which can only be opened in Microsoft Office as I don't have MO is there another way to open this doc?
I do have a free open office thingy, any help?

what's the file format?
ie. .doc .docx or?0 -

If it's only a short-term requirement, you can try an Office 365 trial: https://products.office.com/en-gb/try0 -
Libre Office and open and save MS formatted docs https://www.libreoffice.org/0

If you google Office Viewer, the first result is a Word viewer which once downloaded will let you view the .DOC file format.0
