Overdraft fees are killing me

    Couple of options regarding this if struggling then advice is always an option and there is a few places this can be found either on the debt free wanna bes part of this forum, a debt management charity or as mentioned speaking to the customer support unit at Halifax.

    An option you might want to consider is to refinance the overdraft onto a loan and get rid of the overdraft all together. Now if not done carefully this can be more expensive however it can give you a bit of reprieve. What's important here is you don't want to go for a super high Apr but most place for that small a loan won't offer their best rates unfortunately. You can then set a monthly payment you can afford and you know when the overdraft would be paid off and the total cost. Also get Halifax to put a strict flag on for 12 months after(this stops any further borrowing) just removed a the temptation of putting the overdraft back on.
