AV console has stopped working

Options
Given my laptop is a 2007 DELL Inspiron 6400, I'm not really surprised.

But what does it mean? It has recently started appearing when I removed AVira and started using Panda. Any links?

Google returns pretty much nothing.

Anyone? Thank-you all.

Sounds like there is still some of the AVira software in there somewhere trying to launch - check what programs are in your startup folder.

    a possible workaround

Type msconfig into the run box

Click the startup tab and uncheck anything related to AVira
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
