Does not paying more while roaming mean we will be able to use data and minutes from included bundles as we do at home or will the mobile phone companies just charge the out of bundle price for data and talktime?
That could be very expensive and still be "the same price as at home"

It would be nice to get a working connection abroad, it does connect to that countries networks but then it won't let me make calls or use data i constantly have to buy sim cards from that country.
Can MSE ask them mobile networks to let me make a call when i have credit and data already.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
At the present time, the cost of roaming calls from Europe to normal UK telephone numbers is capped at about 15p per minute.
Within the UK, Vodafone charges 45p per minute for calls to standard UK landline and mobile numbers.
Presumably, in 2017 when the new EU roaming rules come into force, Vodafone will increase their roaming charges from 15p per minute to 45p per minute.0 -

So for instance, on Vodafone PAYG, you can buy a £10 bundle which currently gives you unlimited UK texts, 150 UK minutes and 500GB UK data. The banning of roaming charges presmably means that in a year and half's time, that £10 bundle will be valid in the whole of the EEA, not just the UK.0
