Depends on how much cover you can afford.

Have a look at Petplan. Not the cheapest but reliable.

Be aware that if you can consulted your vet about anyting it and anything that could be connected to it will be considered an existing condition and may be excluded permanently or for a specific time if you speak to them before takign out the policy.

I'm with Tesco. Not the cheapest, either, but I have found them very good to deal with. They also have a decent advice line for any worries about pet health.
  • I can thoroughly recommend PetPlan. I have made significant claims with them for one of my cats and they have paid out really efficiently. They also don't hike renewals after a big claim- the price for both my cats - one with big claims and one with virtually none - is the same.

They may be a bit more expensive, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

Unless you get lifetime cover it isn't really worth it as ag renewal any injury/illness will be pre-existing and therefore not covered.

We have petplan life cover for £7000 a year, our ragdoll costs us £13.75 each month. So far our vet bills each year have been more than th cost of insurance. Our vet will take direct payment (ask yours who they will take payment from).
