Engagement ring insurance

Previously the ring was covered under our contents insurance but we're renewing and the new T&Cs won't cover the ring for loss or damage outside the home. We used a local broker when we changed insurers, my ring is currently worth £5.5k replacement value and is a specified high risk item.

BTW doesn't that guy know that the safest place for your ring is on your finger, where you can enjoy it?!
