Finished my 60 IVA payments last month with payplan
Just finishing them gives you a great sense of relief !

payplan was there at the beginning , seems to be a lot more difficult and dragged out at the end !
Just been informed that all cases are on hold now until Jan 2016 so won't be getting my completion until at least then , I think it's unacceptable as by the time any variations are done your more than likely talking March April :(

I just want to be debt free ! The end is as stressful as the start !

You are debt free, you will not be paying any more into the IVA so well done (unless you have missed or underpaid).

As for the completion certificate, has anyone asked to see it or do you need it for anything?
  • It's down to the Green v Wright ppi case , that's going through the appeal process ,

I need the completion certificate to show to my employer , yes I've done the reviews and no further money is due , I have no Interest in ppi , I'm quite happy for pay plan to take all ppi after the case is closed , I just want to be debt free !

I know this probably wont help but we completed our IVA in November 2012 and got our completion certificate in May 2013. 6 months after completion seems to be about the norm. However, since then I have never been asked for it nor shown it to anyone - it is nice to have tho. Congratulations on completion.

    Well done on the completion!

Could they send you a letter to confirm it is finished that you could show your employer?
