Fine- I was referring to it as the consolitory payment as I didn't know what the other was called! The PWC can get back the loss of maintenance from the CSA.
Which of course is exactly my point!!!

They don't let on that that there is a comprehensive method of bringing them to account, and they clearly don't tell their own employees.

There can only be one possible explanation for that and that is corruption. They know full well that that they could be brought to book and they wilfully conceal the fact.

It wasn't that I have been kept in the dark about this, I know about it but have not been in the loop so I haven't had to refer to the correct name. I could have looked it up before posting but couldn't be bothered to be honest! It isn't a big secret.

So why don't you guys point it out to anybody then? I only found out about it by accident. Since you firmly believe that your employer is open, above board and honest, please explain to all of us why your "wonderful" organisation doesn't make it crystal clear to every one who has difficulties that there is a way of bringing the corruption which is endemic in the CSA into the public domain.

You know that I actually find you to be a pretty sound person so please don't try to spin your way out of this. The simple fact is that the CSA spends an enourmous amount of taxpayers money for NO RETURN!!!

The CSA is simply not fit for purpose and, what's more, costs us poor bl**dy taxpayers a shed load of money. There is simply no defence against that argument. Is there?

You are the spinner, not me. I tell what I know. You found the info on a public site - it is therefore public information and no big secret. I cannot answer as to why not everybody in the organisation doesn't speak about it - I am not there! Could you quantify what corruption you believe there to be?

I meant qualify not quantify!!! Perhaps there is corruption, I have no idea. If I were working there at the present time I would be getting on with my job and feeling frustration at the policies being chucked out by senior management, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that there is corruption.
  • One question - what have I ever spun? Spinning is the presentation of information in such a way as to provide a false impression. All I do is to describe events, based on my own actual experiences and those of other who have also has to endure the CSA.

As for corruption, telling lies is one example. I've got letters from the CSA with deliberate untruths in them. I've also got apologies from others in the CSA promising to investigate the reasons behind those lies (ha! like they'll ever be investigated!).

Another piece of corruption which the CSA is very fond of is over arrears. We see countless posts on here telling us the the CSA have told people that they have to clear arrears within 2 years "because of a change in the law". You and I both know that that is mostly certainly a lie. We probably have different theories behind this deception but one thing is clear, it is indeed a deception. Using a position of power to bully and coerce vulnerable people is, in my opinion, corrupt and that, because of the number of cases we hear about on here, can only be endemic within the CSA - in other words institutionalised corruption.

    Hi chugalug ... again

Don't know if the eight months is a record, but I doubt it ...

Have you contacted your MP yet? It works, did it myself, and its amazing how high they jump.

Make sure that the CSA have sent your ex the MEF, so at least you have a date from which monies due can be set.

Just hang on in there, I too was on the old system as my ex claimed CSA, then went clerical and got lost in the system when I put my new claim in (against the same ex!)

Another option is put a complaint in to the CSA from their website ( do it by their online complaints form), they have to act on them, and at least there is a record that they got it, unlike paper ones!

    Good Luck

By the way ... here's the link to their online complaints form

    http://www.csa.gov.uk/en/case/complaints.asp

Just scroll down to which ever office you are dealing with, and follow that link.

How much have you chased them?> You need to go to your MP as already suggested - your apathy isn't going to help! YOu need to get in and start screaming and jumping up and down to get yourself heard.
