cracking paint

I paid a painter to paint my place when I moved in.
6 months on ice noticed patches of cracked or peeling paint which is really annoying .
It's not blatantly visible but I've seen it now
I know looking around they didn't do the best job filling or sanding now.
But I wonder if there's more to it.
I wanted antique white in dulux which he tried to get bit was apparently unavailable. So got a cheaper brand. This was used in 2 of the 3 areas painted. Both these areas are subjected to steam via adjacent bathroom. The 3rd unaffected area I've not seen problem and it's not subjected to steam.
The 2 other room were painted with dulux and are fine.
So I'm trying to deduce
- poor prep?
- cheaper paint?
- natural due to humidity?
I don't know what to do. Happy to attempt painting myself? Never done it. The walls are generally in good nick. Neutral colour. It's not bothering me too much so shall I leave it til summer or leave it completely?

I'm not in the trades... how does the paint look? Is it peeling in once piece of is it 'bubbling'? The latter could be damp.
Not sure about the cracks..building movement maybe?0
