DIY Exspansion Vessel replacement

Hi looking for some advice.
My exspansion vessel is broken got a leak from a small hole that has rusted through.
I have an unvented system and the vessel is outside the boiler on the colder water inlet to hot water cylinder.
As it's a sealed system I've heard that I'm not aloud to diy replace the part is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

It's not on the sealed system side it's on the unvented side so you need someone with the G3 cert, ev's have different uses as well so you can't just chuck any old one in thereI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
