Facebook log-in issues

Not sure if this counts as 'technical' but couldn't think where else to put it.

Today I tried to log into facebook and thought I had mistyped my password so tried a second time. I got a message saying 'you are trying too often, please try again later'. I had only had 2 tries so I tried to log into my hubbies facebook and got the same message although i had only tried once! I am now locked out of both accounts and have been for the last 4 hours. I initally tried again after 30 mins but got the same message so left it 3 hours before trying the other account.

Anyone had the same problem please and know what the solution is.

I can share your pain, I've been getting the same problem for the last couple of days. No idea what the solution is or if it's just a glitch but it's very annoying - if it's not fixed soon I might actually have to talk to my family in real life!
