I deliver regularly to Bentley & the things look even worse in the flesh.

I think the fact that Bentley say it will achieve it's top speed in 40C temperatures tells you all you need to know about who it expects to buy it. And they're welcome to it!

A few years ago I worked in a hotel where I got to drive a lot of different cars.

While I'm not a fan of their shape and size the driver's seat was a very comfy place to sit with a very smooth ride and practically no engine noise. The owners tended to be older and I can see why they might have been attracted to the comfort side of motoring.

Umm, the Bentayga hasn't been launched yet. It's the big Bentley 4x4 - just another version of the Cayenne/Q7/Toerag.

    Have seen it online.

    My god it is ugly.

    Makes a Cayenne look attractive.

More sales for highly specced LWB Range Rovers I suspect.

Bentley already has deposit-paid orders for the first full year of Bentayga SUV production, meaning any customers ordering today are unlikely to take delivery before 2017.

Though I must agree it looks awful compared to other SUV's

It's often about size, the badge and being first to have a new model. There are plenty of people who like to wear loud, flash, brash and big watches.

If they didn't think that they would sell they wouldn't have made them. I expect sales for Cheshire and the Middle East where they have little taste and style.
