I am signed up for an online course which requires me to access videos of information.
The problem is it doesn't stream. Mostly at all altho sometimes I can get 5 or 6 words before it starts to buffer again.
Is there anything I can do?
The platform is Vimeo which I gather is known to have many problems but I can't change that and the education company running the course keep insisting the problem is with me/my compute/my broadband which i don't think is true as I can access other videos just fine eg you tube or iplayer etc.
Help.

Is there an option to download the videos, so that you can watch without buffering?0

Can't see one but I've gone to full screen and dragged the slider a minute or two into the body of the video and also switched off HD and seems to be streaming ok now. Does that make sense to anyone?flossy_splodge wrote: »Not sure, I'll try. Thanks for the thought.

You'd be better off downloading the vids so you can always go back to them if needs be. Free Download Manager is good as is an add-on for Firefox called Flash Got.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Your broadband speed?
Good WiFi connection?
Does it work better over ethernet?
Are you watching at peak times?0
