Cushions bigger than the cover?

Hi everyone,

I've bought some 45cm cushion covers and need to buy the cushions to go in them. Ikea sell some nice squashy cushion but they are 50cm- would they fit and just be a bit overstuffed, or would they not fit at all?

Does anyone know anywhere to get nice, squashy 45cm pillows if so?

Thanks!

I always buy cushions bigger than the cover!

5cm is nothing - buy a feather pad and you'll have a relatively plump cushion, not a flat one.

  • Take one cover with you to a shop selling cushions and try a few out.
  • Thank you everyone- I saw nice squishy ones in John Lewis instead which is closer so I went for those
