    Find a decent independent local GSR RGI-ask neighbours, friends for a referral.
    It sounds like you have been ringing the kind of ones who list in Yellow Pages as 'AAA Boilers Repairs': they're just the kind we are warning you against.
    Good RGI's don't need to advertise.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
