OMG! I now have a mental picture of you sitting with your miser gloves on counting your money by the light of a candle. I guess Christmas must be a very painful time for you! Perhaps you should change your user name to Scrooge! Bah humbug...

All they did was facetiously point out an alternative interpretation of the starting post of this thread - that spending £42 is (gasp!) money spending, not money saving.

I'm not sure why that definition requires the person to be a miserly penny-pincher, or should result in such angry reactions. All they're saying is that spending money is spending money and saving money is saving money. I spend on luxuries like these every month, and I get "bargains" nearly every time (Dark Souls III for £20 last week) - but I'm not going to pretend that spending all this money is the same as saving money.
Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.

Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

It was a joke, else I would have hit report/spam myself, but I didn't! :rotfl:

Thumbs up for getting Dark Souls III for that price though! :D
