From a well known CD key site I can get that game for Xbox one for 22.99 and for the PC 22.5. I think you got ripped off.

I wish people would read messages properly before answering! I originally preordered the game at the price of £54.99 which I was quite happy to pay. Upon delivery the price had been reduced to £42.00. IMHO that means I paid less than the original quoted price.
P.S. I did not use that 'well known CD key site' because I wanted the map, music CD, the book of illustrations etc.etc.

and that is still not saving money!

christ: it's like buying a new telly for £800 on amazon (20% less then retail price of £1000)

Random shopper: "I just saved £200!"

Sensible people: "No, you just spent £800 on a new telly!"

Amazon is my only favourite retailer, if you order something and price has gone down within say 30-45 days they will refund the difference. Over live chat this takes about 2 minutes.

I have got about £5 refunded from a pre-order after price dropped after release few weeks later.
    • d70cw6 - You're wrong. Money saving is all about getting what you want or need at the best possible price. It's not about going without, that's called being tight.

not spending it on unnecessary luxuries.
putting it in a saving account.
      investing it.
      etc.

OMG! I now have a mental picture of you sitting with your miser gloves on counting your money by the light of a candle. I guess Christmas must be a very painful time for you! Perhaps you should change your user name to Scrooge! Bah humbug...
