I've had enough of poor customer service from NPower. I want to switch Im on price fix Feb 2017 though with no early exit fees.
I really can't work out if taking this British Gas deal really will be better esp as I'm losing the winter 16/17 fix.

Well the gas at BG is 1p cheaper per KWh but the standing charges are £47 a year more.
So if you use more than 4700KWh per year then the BG tariff is cheaper
BUT BG have a £30 early exit penalty so you will have to consider if you may want to change away from BG within the next 10 months.
And only you know if having a tariff that lasts 3 months longer is worth it to you.
I have had my issues with every major supplier but have never returned to BG as, for me, they were the worst of the bunch. I've been back and fore between the other 5 big companies even though I've had issues which at the time were annoying but fixed by complaining like hell :-)0 -
Thank you. Just realised I didn't share the electric.
Your explanation will make it easier to decide. I'm going to keep searching for a good deal.0
