Morning all
Thought I would post this as I couldnt see anyone else mentioning it. I have lots of a certain fruity companies products. Watch, phone, tablet, music device and laptop. However, this weekend after installing the new update I had a major issue with iMessage. It just wouldnt work. It just failed and then sent the message as a text. So it would go through as if it was ok, then 5 minutes later fail and send as text.
my provider couldnt explain it and I did all the normal reseting, turning on and off imessage etc.
When I then spoke with apple nothing they suggested helped.
So, I ended up backing up to icloud and having to completely wipe my phone and reinstall. Then, I had to turn imessages off my DHs phone (only person 'near by' with an iphone) and restart.
Only then did it work again! 4 hours after the problem started.
Thought I would post this so I can help if anyone else has this issue I can talk you through the steps.
Thanks!
