When is balance due with Thomson and Thomas cook?

Currently looking at holidays when off work in may. How early is balance due with Thomson/first choice and Thomas cook? Read different things that it's either 8 or 12 weeks but not sure which one. Planning on flying around the 28th may so guessing it would be end of February or march?
Hope someone can help as want to get hols booked ASAP but obviously want to make sure I book something I can definitely afford to pay off.

Any holiday you book in a Thomas cook, or co op shop that is owned by Tc the balance is due 14 weeks before you travel. Thomas cook website I think is less at 12 weeks, I don't know about Thomsons website or Thomsons shop.0

Just read the relevant terms and conditions if you're booking online. They're on their websites. If you're booking in store, ring the store because sometimes they have different timescales.0
