  • Hello I'm in norfolk too.. Norwich.

This is how much I pay out. I live alone in a two bed flat.

    Council Tax -90£ band b
    Electricity Inc. Heating 45£ p/m
    Water -35£ p/m
TV License / Sky or YouView Virgin 32£p/m and tv 12£ ish p/m
    Broadband Inc within Virgi
    Mobile Phone £36
Insurance? Contents only 5£ P/m covers about 10k or so

I'm reasonably careful but not stupidly so. I only set the heating to about 18 so could cost more if you like it warm!!!

    Think that's just over 250£!

Food wise- £40 is a good amount per week.

    Rent is just over 600!

Useful to know Lee. What Virgin package do you have?
  • you will explore it yourself once you get to know all sorts of taxes and costs.
  • My Virgin deal is -

50mb broadband delivered by firbe optics (not everywhere can get this)

Phone line with free eve and weekend calls

    Tv basic package.

I only wanted the broadband but that was £30 p/m for 12 months but there was an offer a week or so back for the above deal at 28£ for nine months and then it does go up to 38£ p/m for further nine months. I got a further discount so on average it's 32-33£ a month now. I don't actually care for the home phone and I'll see if I can remove this later. Seems a package gives you cheaper price.
