Anyone know if this applies to the mini alcohol gift sets? Thinkinv of using these for our wedding
I can't see a category that they would seem to fit into, so I'd say no, although they have those leaflets in the store nearer to the time. They have more comprehensive lists of what is included in each category.
I think maybe Sainsbury's have reduced the amount of alcohol they sell in double up events (limiting to those Taste the Difference items only by the looks of it) because of the minimum price on alcohol. They've gone quite overzealous on that front this year, removing Nectar points on spirits and liquers.0 -
Thanks but I should have said can I double the points for Ebay?
No. Double points offers are retailer specific, so this is just for Sainsbury's.
Sainsbury's occasionally give information/exchanges for use at other retailers (Pizza Hut/Vue Cinemas were relatively recent ones) but I've never seen an eBay one.
Do you get emails from eBay? I think there was a deal few weeks ago where they gave a certain number of points when you redeemed x points with them, but it was communicated by them rather than Sainsbury's.0 -

Tesco still give them as far as I'm aware.
Points aren't considered part of the selling price anyway, here: http://www.bitterwallet.com/sainsburys-to-stop-giving-nectar-points-on-alcohol/76684
They are going above what is required by law and filling their own pockets in the process.0 -
Is there anywhere you can see the actual items that will be included? I can see 'Electricals' and the various sub sections but can't see exactly what will be on offer.
Thanks for any help - appreciate it.0 -

Everything under each bullet point is included e.g. all TVs and all laptops.
To the person asking about mini alcohol gift sets, you might find some under this section (which I didn't notice before, so I think they've just added it): 'All gift items in the ‘Seasonal’ aisle. If you’re unsure of where this is, please ask a Sainsbury’s colleague instore'.0 -
Don't rely on Nectar Points from your Sainsburys Mobile refund being on time for this; it seems (surprise, surprise) that there's a backlog & it is taking "up to 28 days" for points to be credited!
Very poor, Sainsburys.0 -
How often do Nectar/Sainsburys do this double up? Decisions, decisions......do I but in the double up, or wait for the after Xmas sale?0

I won't be using them for Christmas decorations or cards and wrap as these are heavily discounted by New Year.
I think £20 in points looks like the max, giving £40 to spend.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
