IGNORE - it arrived eventually

Gmail: 15 minutes ago I sent a e-mail to myself (from the same Gmail account) and it still doesn't show in the Inbox.
How come?
It is in the 'Sent' folder (not 'Outbox') with all correct details.
I tried using the 'soft' built-in refresh for Inbox. So did I soft and hard (Ctrl+F5) refreshing the webpage.
Just in case I also checked the 'Spam' folder too.
And I received some other e-mail meanwhile.
