  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one, especially HH and LM. Such a stressful time for you, not made any better by your MIL' s family.

Slept well, the blessed dogs across the road woke me barking, they have been at it for well over an hour. I think they are shut in the garden and object strongly. They need an animal behaviourist pretty quick. OH is talking about speaking to the council about them. Peaceful it ain't when they are about.

Tired after yesterday, I did manage a couple of hours on my feet walking round, looking at all the quilts and then having a good rummage round the traders. Fabric is so expensive now, you just cannot afford to waste a bit. Even the special offers at the show were between £5 & £6 a metre. Fat quarters worked out at the yardage being around £12,,!!!

Supper prep to do, then going to finish off the mats for the quilting groups Christmas 'do'.

    Fine morning, but brrrrr outside.

    Morning all,

Slept so well again even though I had a long nap yesterday afternoon this virus thing has knocked me for 6 but I do think its on the way out, I feel so much better today, will hopefully be ok for work tomorrow.

I have the bedding in the wm and will hand it out for a while, I got a great big towel load almost dry yesterday, left it on the line while I went for a nap and the neighbours lit a bonfire  the washing stinks and will have to be done again ! That's three times this week they have done that !

Not sure about dinner dd is out tonight so it will just be OH and I, might do some Jacket spuds as dd hates them, I have some chicken breasts so could do coronation chicken and salad.

Hugs to those in need, have good days all xx
  • Good afternoon everyone,

hugging.gifHugs to everyone and hope all the poorlies are getting better.

Well yesterday I didn't wake up until nearly 11.00 am  today I was awake very early around 6.00 am, so will be flagging later.:D Although seems like I am not alone.

We have sunshine at the moment and it is nice and dry. DH has been pottering in the garden. I have put some washing on the line, but don't think it will dry. DD has gone to work at the hotel for the lunchtime and DS is still in bed as he worked another late shift last night, and was very hungover yesterday as he had been celebrating his birthday on Friday.:rotfl:

At DS's request I am doing pulled pork in the slow cooker for his birthday meal will do roast potatoes and veggies as well. I have bought a profiterole gateau for pudding.

My Mr T's order yesterday got cancellled by them due to a system issue and won't be delivered until tomorrow, when I rang them yesterday they gave me a £10 e voucher to use as an apology, so not too bad I guess.

I have stripped our bed and need to remake the bed and tidy the room. I will get the children to do theirs later so they can be washed for tomorrow.

Well I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday. x

    Afternoon all

Lovely and bright down here, went over to Ramsgate for a walk and popped into Toscos for large custard on offer to put in store cupboard.

Washing nearly dried on line, will prep dinner, Moroccan meatballs, then have half an hour doing some family history stuff.

Hugs to the poorlies and those in need.

    Afternoon all,

Had to look at the clock as I thought it was evening as it's so dark :(

Been a bright day today though. Did a tip run this morning with DH and sorted out the washing.

Made DH go out for a walk this afternoon round the Country Park, we got back in the car at what we thought was half 3 only to realise he still had to put the clock back!

DH made some Squash soup for weekday lunches and I made a loaf. We have leftover chicken with potatoes and mixed beans for dinner. Had a few apples left and have made a crumble. Out tomorrow with my friend to see if there are any apples left on the trees as they were picking last week.

    Have a nice evening :)

    Evening all,

The usual was up earlier because of clock....not sure why its still done, it was always a complete pain when the children were little, took them ages to get used to the time difference.

Decided to do some aldi shopping this morning, needed a gift for DDIL2 whose birthday is tomorrow, will call in at some stage, its a Bank Holiday tomorrow so she will be free.We had breakfast in the local garden centre to get us started.
Had a nice surprise yesterday evening when DD4 and DSILto be called in with the twins for an hour, they are trying to get used to going places with them as it takes ages to get them in and out of the car.

Made a vat of soup when I came back from shops, spent the rest of the afternoon reading paper and watching rugby......had some soup for dinner so thats us fed for the day

Good wishes to all who are feeling down or ill, I hope that everybody recovers soon, there is nothing worse than being ill as winter comes in.

We have the Irish version of bake off starting tonight, w ill watch it but didnt really like previous series although this time the judges seem to at least have some professional qualifications......

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
