Still displaying tax disk

I was told by someone in the motor trade that the government is going to make displaying a tax disk an offence. Has anyone else heard this?

    I doubt they would be so stupid.
    Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

    Quite - how many people realise that the the Government recently announced that the standard rate of tax paid on general insurance premiums will rise from 6% to 9.5% on the 1st of November.

    No explanation as to why - but it could be used to help pay for the security needed for Mr D Cameron going down the Plough to have a pint of beer and fish and chips with the leader of the 2nd most powerful country in the world earlier this week.
