When i spoke to Egg this morning they said it was their end and it was affecting some of their internal systems too. And they said it could be anywhere between 5mins and 24 hours before it is fixed.

  • Totally useless, can't even get through on the 'phone.

Isn't it fun trying to get past their talking robots, trying to get "it" to understand a letter in your password.

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided

#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now

Guys, if Egg is working for some people and not others on this forum then there is a DNS issue.

If its not working for you.... what you need to do is clear the DNS resolver on your computer (worked for me and saves you waiting for up to 24 hours)

Close all browser windows before you start.

    Click start > run

Type cmd in the box and click OK.

Now, in the black box, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

    Type exit to quit.

Try egg again. If this still doesnt work for you - wait 4 hours before trying again.
