    Morning all

Bit gloomy outside but I have a towel load on the line and will hang it out for a while.

Supposed to be at work but I just feel too poorly, my poor boss is covering for me so she wont get a day off now for 9 days unless I can go in tomorrow I will see how I feel later on.

Going to drop dd off at work this morning then back home, will have a shower and change jamas then get back on the sofa / bed which is where I have spent most of the week !

I have not done a thing about Christmas yet ! its dd'd 21st Birthday in November and I am busy planning that so no thought give to Xmas at all yet, better start I suppose !

Right have good days all xx

  • Morning all, again.
Dropped hubby at work, was in town by ten past 8, in M&S by 8:15 & out by 9:15, having bought 3 nightdresses for MIL, 4 bras a cardigan & a coat for me & a fur gilet for DGD.
I also bought another cardigan, gloves & a handbag in other shops.
I haven't had a new coat in over 25 years, I've managed with CS or things passed on by friends, my new coat is a dark rust & very soft and warm. I popped in to see DD to check I don't look like mutton dressed as lamb & she assures me I look just fine.
Hubby wanted to leave work at 11:30 to leave plenty of time to get to the hospital to visit MIL, but the caretaker on last night mucked up the alarm system, so hubby is stuck waiting for the alarm company to arrive about 1ish.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Morning all,

thanks for your concern about the bruising. Ive made another appointment at the practice with another doctor for Monday. I promise if i get any more i'll get them seen to before then.

Well so far so good. Both hubby and i kept each other awake in the night. Me coughing (though i'm not as bad as i was) and he blowing his nose. We had plenty of time to talk to each other about our week. I think our bedroom could do with being fumigated though to get shot of the germs.

Youngest will be out all weekend. It seems strange, just me, him and the dogs.

Weather is dire, no doubt we'll get wet when we go out shopping later.

I have to say though, i feel much better.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.
