DRO... Surplus income... Or lack off!

Hi guys,

In the process of applying for a DRO, I've been sent my monthly budget and forms. It says I have a surplus of £24, but I've noticed they've missed my husbands monthly train fare off the household budget, it's around £120 per month (I did tell them on the call) I'm going to let them know when I send my forms back. However, is being in deficit rather than having a surplus likely to mean I won't be granted the DRO? Everything I've read says less than £50 but is it okay to be in the -?

Sorry if it's a silly question!

Technically it will not cause a problem with the DRO itself however some advice providers prefer the budget to at least balance to ensure it is sustainable long term... Best speak to your advisor about this
