Or perhaps - it's Monday and he's hard at work, topping up that 100k!!?
Jeeeeez. Some of you sure love to instantly presume someone young and doing well for themselves is full of ****
Why can't you congratulate someone and give them the advice they came on these forums for, instead of jumping in and trying to mock them?
Sometimes I don't know why I bother reading these forums anymore, the insults just wind me up!!

Thank you for your positive feedback. I have been non-stop busy and haven't had time to think never mind log onto here in my spare time.
Why do people think this is a scam? I am 24 and trying to better myself each and every day and somedays I feel depressed other days I feel great, I guess its just my hormones...
I thank everyone to bring positive feedback to me by going out of their way to write to me.
I also accept some constructive criticism however a lot of the people on here really do talk !!!!...Thank you everyone for going out of your way as this is the first time I have ever posted something like this online.0 -

Others choose different trajectories, perhaps a "lifestyle career" (I know a few who drift around the world as scuba instructors, happy but penniless), or maybe undemanding "jobs" rather than a career as such.
I'm quite "handy" myself, and could be happy restoring houses, but recognise that it's a full time job that is often both physically and emotionally hard work.
thank you gadget mind for going out of your way to give me some really good advice and for that I am very greatful.0 -

Apart from posting it on at least two other forums.

The OP may have encountered some negativity here, but they also got more feedback than elsewhere.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

I know you're asking for advice but I don't see the point. You have pretty much answered your own question........invest the money into property. Your an Electrician, so you are presumably familiar with property and have the contacts through your profession for the initial refurbishment or future maintenance.
I would be careful about the proposed tax changes regarding landlords, which are to be introduced from 2017-2020. Putting it simply, if the additional £5400 per year from the property puts you into the higher rate tax bracket then don't bother. Its a ridiculous proposal by Mr Osborne that typically penalises people for their own success.0 -

I'd rather pay 40% tax on some or all of £5,400 than not earning an additional £5,400 in the first instance.
Whether I'd be interested in any BTL is an entirely different matter.0
