Hastings Direct car insurance RIP OFF Policy Renewal

Penning
Received my car insurance policy renewal document from Hastings Direct today.
I've been Driving 9 years never had any claims or accidents. hence have an 8 years no claims discount.
My policy rose from £650 to £960.
I haven't changed my car, address, job. The only change is I have another year under my belt with no accidents.
I decided to enter the exact same details on Hastings site and received a quote for £653.
Hastings where trying their luck here and I imagine they do it with all their customers.
I can only imagine how they take advantage of far less tech savvy people than me or even people who just haven't got the time to check and take their word for it.
Disgraceful HASTINGs Direct

Loss of early year discount is the likely reason.
No rip off here. Just normal pricing methods.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. I'm not aware of a single insurer that doesn't do this. My £600 multi car policy became a £1600 renewal (I got the £600 new customer price after calling them, as I have done every year for 20 years).Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
