Decorating Advice. Painting walls in half tiled bathroom.

Hi, our bathroom is half tiled. The walls are painted magnolia and the tiles are also a beige or magnolia colour.
The top edge of the tiles appears to have been painted with the same paint as the walls.
We are repainting in a different colour, a pale yellow probably, but keeping the tiles.
Should we paint the walls only or should we also paint the top edge of the tiles to match the walls?
Or should we fit a quarter profile edge trim to the top of the tiles to give a better finish. We could get one in a contrasting colour as we are unlikely to get something matching the tiles.
My instincts are to paint the walls only with the new colour and then refresh the paint on the tile edge with more magnolia.
What do you think would look best?

Trim would definitely give a neater finish but bear in mind that normal tile trim is fitted before the tiles are fixed (as it has a lip that goes behind the tile). You'll have to try and find some regular trim that you can glue on.0

I think trying to paint the tile edge is always going to be tricky. I have glued on wooden quadrant in this situation in the past, varnished before fixing.0

Pretty common in new builds to just paint the tile edge as the tiles don't usually have a glazed edge and trim is not usually used unless a high end house.Best way is paint the edge trying not to get to much on the face then wipe the face of tiles with damp cloth before paint dries0
