Painting Moulded Doors with Paint or Varnish

Hi
I like the colour of the original moulded doors I've bought. However we need to paint it to protect it from wearing.. What should we paint the door with e,g, can you paint clear varnish on moulded doors?

Assuming that they are wood, you can either paint (2 coats of oil based undercoat and then a gloss/satinwood) or you can varnish them in a neutral varnish. Alternatively you could wax them.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
