Vanquis, repayment option plan

in Credit cards
When I applied for and was accepted for a Vanquis credit card I was on disability benefit, not in employment, and in rented accommodation. I suffer mental health problems, and can find it difficult understanding what someone is trying to explain to me. I have only just noticed that vanquis enrolled me in to their repayment option plan. If this was explained to me over the phone at the time of applying for the card I do not know. I probably wouldn't have understood a word of it anyway. With already being unemployed, should they have enrolled me in to this plan, wheather I inadvertently agreed or not? My partner did get me to write to vanquis several days after being accepted for a card stating I did not want any kind of payment protection. He got me to do this, because he knew I could get confused on the phone and was worried I might have agreed to something like this. However, vanquis reckon they never received this letter. The letter was not sent by recorded delivery.

There's two versions of Vanquis' Repayment Option Plan. One for those who work and one for those who don't work.
If you're on the Plan for those who work you have reason to complain and request a refund.
As you have no proof you sent the letter you mentioned I doubt you can use that as an argument.0
