I've just opened my first BOS account online.
How soon can I go ahead and open a further 2, as I see I can hold 3?
Also I've seen the term 'donor account' in recent posts, is this the main current account?

So that would be for the purpose of getting a bonus?
I've been with First Direct since they started but I don't want to leave them totally. There is a a deal with Yorkshire Bank

If I want to keep First Direct do I open another account somewhere and then just apply to switch?
Sorry I'm not finding this easy to grasp.0 -
It's not quite as simple as that. The YB deal requires a couple of DDs to be switched, and maintained until you have received the incentive.Carolinemjs wrote: »So that would be for the purpose of getting a bonus?

Maybe it would be easiest to open another FD account and switch a couple of your existing DDs to that, before switching this new account to YB?0 -
Generally, yes, and it can be with the same FD, not necessarily 'elsewhere'.Carolinemjs wrote: »I've been with First Direct since they started but I don't want to leave them totally. There is a a deal with Yorkshire Bank

However, IIRC, for YB you have to set 2 DDs up before switching.0 -

From memory I think I opened my 2nd and 3rd a couple of days after my 1st one.0
