  • Ask them to show you the owner history. If their cars are ex hire/lease/company cars, these cars may have been pushed getting to meetings and deadlines on time. They may have low mileage, but what is the point if these cars have been pushed to their limit.
Would those meetings happen to be high power management consultant type meetings? At least most ex-lease cars have rear brakes fitted for safety...

This is my other account - but after this post, I was in a car accident on Saturday and actually wrote this car off. The steering locked on me whilst on a roundabout, so the car was sold to me with defects.

Lol. Or you knowingly drove a car with a dangerous defect exposing yourself and others to unknown dangers

Not my little Corsa; brilliant car. But maybe it's the exception that proves the rule... ;)

Ditto - My best car was a 2002 corsa sxi.

It looked awful (dents and scrapes galore) but was bombproof. Had 5 years of trouble free motoring, passed every mot, and never broke down before the wife decided we had to get something "better".

Worst decision I've ever made as the car we've got now is just a pain in the backside. Tempted to track down whoever has that Corsa now and pay them double for it back lol.

Judging by your most recent post, I'd say at the bus stop :D
  • They did make good reliable cars in the good old days, these days, they employ a carefully selected team of idiots to think ,of at least 5 stupid mistakes they can attach to each car they make, 5 things no other car maker would even consider.

I would suggest you take along someone more knowledgeable if and when you buy your next car.
