Barclays online banking

I signed up for online banking a couple of years ago at least and received log in details etc but i have never actually used it as i have not had the need. But now i am thinking of starting to use online banking. I presume there is no deadline as in if you don't use the service after a while it stops?

Some banks will indeed suspend the online access if not used
Some only provide initial login codes for first time users to be changed on first login and that first time code is only valid for a short period.0
