Concerned about esa assessment

I had my ESA assessment yesterday, my current situation is that I am registered partially sighted and due to this cannot leave the house alone and have difficulty reading as I struggle to see the text. my concern regarding my assessment is that the assessor asked me a few questions about my daily routine, getting around the house and anywhere I go outside of the house, I explained I hardly leave the house but that when I do I have to have somebody with me and she did a basic sight test. she then said she needed to leave the room to make a phone call and when she returned said she had enough information, is this normal only its made me abit worried?

When I went for my assessment, I was only asked questions about my mental health, Even though I have asthma and knee problems, She told me she had enough information, I passed.

But best try not to get worked up, Cause it takes about 2 weeks for a decision to be made.

Please don't worry. The assessor was just seeking advice, probably about your being partially sighted.

    They have guidelines about this.

Ive read on here before that sometimes if the Assessor feels they have enough for recommending the support group, they speak to someone to check and if ok they end the assessment. Without giving you false hope - the fact she didnt need anymore info gives the impression it was enough to pass ?

This didnt happen with me though, even though mine was just 12 mins long. It seems she had enough to recommend support group and ended mine early especially as I was in a state.

if you are unable to read 16 point print or braille, then you would meet one of the support group descriptors.

there is a possibility that no further information was needed if you met this descriptor.

i can't say for sure, but this MAY be the case
