I've bought an updated (not new) dell pc, and reinstalled windows from fresh to wipe everything.
Over the past week, I've been transferring files from my old pc, to new, music files, video, and some image and sound editing programmes.
The new pc has slowed down a bit on start up, not really bad but noticable, (this was a big issue with old pc which is why i upgraded).
The current security/cleaner programmes i use are,
avg antivirus
zone alarm firewall,
c cleaner,
adaware,
I've ran all of these and also done a disk defrag.
Is there any ways to check for further spyware or anything which could be causing slowdown.
I've seen a few links for hijack this, but don't really know what I'd be doing with that.
Help greatly received, thanks.

try taking zonealarm off and replacing with Kerio or Comodo free firewalls
Zonealarm is known to cause slowdownsEx forum ambassador
