I have a piece of natural wood worktop as a breakfast bar.
It is about three foot long.
I want to replca it with melamine worktop as i dont like the wood look anymore.
But looking online, most worktops are 2m long.
is there anywhere that sells smaller bits?

They're not expensive, so you cut them down.
If you don't want to do that, then people often sell their offcuts on eBay. Also, in a B&Q (or similar, I'm sure) where they offer a cutting service, there will often be offcuts by the saw.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Just looked online, B&Q are quite cheap on worktops by the looks of it, shame about the 5 week delivery though.
Small hardware stores with cutting facilities can sometimes sell by the cut so you don't have wastage.
