I'm disabled and moved into my first bungalow two years ago, it's great being able to use all the rooms. The original Bungalow Bill was on the Beatles White Album. Apparently, the song was a John Lennon mickey-take about someone who shot wild animals in the Indian jungle.
'Bungalow' is an Indian word, or probably a corruption of it.

as regards that particular "extension" on a bungalow (ie "spot the bungalow part of that mansion if you can").
