Hudl2 stuck in safe mode

I have accidentally put my Hudl2 in "Safe Mode" and I don't know how to get out of it.

Tesco Tech online help page shows a reset button on the back to push but I only have one on the front and I'm afraid that I will lose all my data/apps if I push it.

Please help!

  • Well I was brave and pushed the rest button with a needle in the little hole and it has restarted still in safe mode.

Try pressing and holding the power button for 15-20 seconds to reset your Hudl (I think the reset button on the back maybe refers to the Hudl 1?). It should reboot and you won't lose any data.
  • Thank you so much! It worked! I'm so grateful as it is a birthday present for tomorrow and I thought that I had "bricked it" I think is the expression.

    Glad it's working again ;-)
