I'd guess it's not the cheapest energy deal you can get - most freebies aren't, they have to be paid for somehow.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
  • its £209 cheaper apparently lol, (checking for a friend) just wanted to know details about the card

Must be a high user then I'm a low user and that tariff is £43 more expensive for me over there isave December 2016 tariff
  • they haven't switched in a while, so I,m presuming that's another reason why theres a big saving

If they haven't switched in a while there may be other tariffs with other suppliers, that have an even greater saving for them and If they want to go (or stay with FU), the Isave December 2016 may work out slightly cheaper than the You first tariff.
  • Never base lifestyle choices on vaguely-worded promotion/incentive deals. If FU are offering the best prices, then they are obviously worth considering but, even if the card savings are genuine, there will probably be very few occasions when they will be used. Incentive schemes are a potential bonus - they should never be regarded as a game-changer/decision-maker.
mad mocs - the pavement worrier
  • yup true, this is why I,m asking about the card, as anyone got any more details or a link to what it acutally offers?

    I very much doubt it!

  • looks like eon it is then lol
  • I have the same assumptions (i.e. that the You First card will be virtually worthless to me), but I also have the same question. What exactly are the benefits? A lot of pixels have been wasted NOT answering the question.
